I will try to make a long story short. Basically it's my online identity. It is short for "The Dreaded Snowman." Contrary to popular belief the dreaded snowman has nothing to do with the abominable snowman. In fact it really doesn't have much to do with snow at all. It's a term used for a really bad golf score, eight to be exact. I don't know exactly who coined the phrase, but when it takes you eight strokes to complete a single you have to put this little snowman on your score card. This little snowman is feared by golfers around the world, hence the name dreaded snowman.
